I am starting this a little (or alot) late but these thoughts have been juggling around in my brain for awhile. We (hubby and I ) have completed remodeling our house which entailed the last 2 big projects (kitchen and attached breezeway). This project has taken the better part of a 1 1/2 years and since we've lived there 32 years, we have basically remodeled "This Old House" since we moved in in 1985. Getting it sold was the big goal so we could become Fulltime RV'ers.
So our sails need adjusting to get ready for Fulltime RVing --- I though easy-peasy...
- house remodeling done, check,
- sell house, check, check,
- sell all our stuff, check, check, check ...... hold the fort, selling stuff is NEVER easy and with as much stuff as we had (mostly, husband had), it has been monumental....
I have been so grateful for family and friends who have helped us, provided trucks, trailers, manual labor, storage space and listened to babbling phone calls, lending mental support, to mention a few that comes to mind. We are truly blessed with having that network that when the going gets rough, we have friends/family to provide support.
This blog is intended to keep those family/friend members abreast of what the Pendergast's are doing as they travel. I hope you will enjoy checking in from time to time, leave a post if you so desire and let me know how you are doing as well.
More babbling, I'm sure will get this posted but for now --- the 1st auction is coming up April 28 and I have a "to do" list hanging out somewhere I need to address!
Happy Traveling,
Susan & Darrel
